The 403 Center provides food, clothing and emergency assistance to families and individuals across Davidson County and Hendersonville — and runs a thrift store and boutique that anyone can shop.

Thanksgiving Can Drive for the 403 Food Pantry. Together we can help local families this Thanksgiving. Families carry boxes of canned goods past pumpkins, hay bales and autumn flowers beside a 403 Food Pantry chalkboard sign. Canned goods, stronger families, a brighter community.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Be thinking ahead about our food drive for the 403 Center which we will start collecting in November. We are partnering with Madison Academy and will be collecting 4 different can goods: green beans, corn, black beans and pinto chili beans for the respective high-school classes. If possible, we would like to have flats/cases of whichever item you choose.

The elementary school will be collecting items for hygiene bags. All donations received here at the church, the elementary school and high-school are part of the same drive and will end up at the 403. We will be collecting in the Sanctuary foyer. Thank you for helping support with food for those less fortunate.

What we offer

Shelves of tinned and packaged food in the pantry, with coloured bins of groceries ready for collection.

Help Center

Food boxes, clothing vouchers, hygiene kits, one-day bus passes and emergency assistance. First come, first served during opening hours; please bring photo ID and proof of residency.

Thrift Store & Boutique

Clothing, furniture, household goods and seasonal finds at thrift-store prices — new items daily. Everyone is welcome, and every purchase funds food assistance and daily operations.

Volunteer

Almost everything here is done by volunteers. Give a couple of hours a month or a day a week — cashiers, interviewers, sorters, food-box packers and more. Students needing community hours are welcome.

Most needed right now

Clean, gently used donations are always welcome. At the moment we are especially short of:

  • Blankets
  • Suitcases & rolling luggage
  • Bibles
  • Towels
  • Small flashlights

Donations can be dropped off Monday to Thursday during opening hours.
