Everything the 403 Center does runs on what people give — goods, money and time. Every dollar stays close to home, going to individuals and families in Davidson County and Hendersonville.

Give goods
Clothing, household necessities, seasonal items, Bibles and hygiene supplies are always welcome. Clean, gently used items are greatly appreciated.
Drop-off is Monday to Thursday during opening hours.
Give financially
Financial gifts let us buy groceries when donated goods do not cover the need, care for the facility, and meet needs that goods cannot.
Call us on (615) 860-6001 and we will walk you through the options, or bring cash or a check to the Center during opening hours.
Shop with us
Our thrift store and boutique are open to everyone. Every purchase helps fund food assistance, programs and daily operations — so shopping is giving.
Give your time
Almost everything here is done by volunteers. A couple of hours a month makes a real difference, and there is a job to suit most schedules and abilities.

One useful item may seem small to the giver, but it can meet a very real need for the person receiving it.

- Food — groceries and supplies for food boxes when donated goods do not cover the need.
- Facility — keeping the building clean, safe and welcoming for guests, volunteers and shoppers.
- Programs — the Help Center and the assistance we provide to individuals and families.
- Gaps — the needs that no donation of goods can meet.
Receipts and tax
Donations to Adventist Community Services are tax-deductible. We are glad to provide a receipt — just ask when you drop off your donation, or call us afterwards.
Please note that donations received outside our operating hours are not eligible for a tax receipt.
