Adventist Community Services evolved from historial efforts by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to develop community outreach programs.  In the Nashville area, there has been a service center reaching out to the community needs for many years.

In January 2009, the new home of Adventist Community Services is the 403 Building on Gallatin Pike in the heart of mid-town Madison, Tennessee.  For years, it was the home of the Madison Movie Theatre.  Much of the charm of this historic 17,000 sq. ft., two story building has been retained, as it has been converted into a Community Service Center.
